Yves St. Laurant once said that a well dressed person is one that wears what is appropriate. Working in a conservative industry I found that when it was not clear what the appropriate attire should be I would always lean toward being overdressed rather than under dressed. Although I wore conservative suits I would always add my own flare and so developed my own distinct style. I wore only natural fabrics, cotton, silk, wool and linen. I would take a standard black suit and adorn it with a leopard print silk blouse with a chain of large gold loops. Add gold hoop earrings and black lizard pumps to set it off. My favorite suits are Armani Collezioni sold at Saks Fifth Avenue. http://bit.ly/OvNAtC
