I know everyone has sat through a boring meeting where it would be detrimental to your career and just plain rude if you feel asleep. Here are some of the things that have worked for me.
- Take notes...you can't write and sleep at the same time.
- During breaks run cold water over your wrist pulse points.
- Caffeine, caffeine and caffeine. Although this will wreak havoc on your system.
- In place exercises. Straighten your legs and hold them parallel to the floor. Alternate pulling knees up as far as the table will allow.
- Get a good nights sleep especially prior to a lengthy meeting.
